Suelo Rojo

Suelo rojo is a work for the Siren Organ, whose inspiration is rooted in my vision of the physical presence of the body powered by the breath. During the composition process, I had in mind a recurrent reflection on the time that passes, that crumbles and that marks our body.

I would like to thank Jean Francois Laporte for the sound explorations, Julie Delisle for her magnificent improvisations on the transverse flute and picolo which gave life to my composition. I would also like to thank Diane Daher for her voice and her breath which were the sound genesis of the work and also, as always, her listening! Finally a huge thanks to Émilie-Girard Charest for her interpretation of the piece and feedback during the compositional process.
